Silliness

So we were having a silly day and Ari was enjoying the option of two binkies. These pictures are from January and I know it has been a while but it is so darned cute to watch her play with them. Unfortunately she doesn't do this anymore:( She has gotten much to big! Listening to her giggle with them in her mouth is hilarious.

Brent got on the floor one day with Bekah. At this point she loved daddy! Brent gave her his flashlight which she sure enjoyed playing with. Isn't he the handsomest looking man in the world?!? I mean what woman would not enjoy watching him enjoy his kids?

Then the playing got raised to another level. The light was turned on. I had so much fun trying to get a good picture of her with the light on in her mouth. All of us were rolling on the floor laughing. I have to admit Brent's work flashlights sure come in handy!

Mom Time

You know there is a time when you just need to have adult time. Tonight was that night. I have craft night at my house right now available to the ladies at church to have a place to work on a project and chat together while the guys are at prayer meeting. Brent stayed home tonight and watched the kids while one of the ladies and I enjoyed hanging out. Didn't realize that I needed that so much. Thank goodness for an understanding husband and a blessing of a big house.

Time

I just realized that yesterday was December 28th. Can you believe it Brent and I have been together for eleven years. Yes I said 11! Time sure flies. The places and things we have gone through have only made us more thankful and stronger as a couple. From newly married in a quiet little town in Washington to the wilds of the Arctic, where there is nothing, to a small town in Alaska. Thankfully we have fallen in love with every place the Lord has taken us. I am so blessed with the man that God has put in my life. He is a wonderful father, an amazing husband, and a strong leader. The fact that he is willing to be in a village for two weeks a month just so we are in a safer place speaks so much to his character. Thank you Lord for this man!
